Noah’s Ark is the largest water park in the United States. It features 51 water slides, and dozens of various attractions. The park is located in the village of Lake Delton, Wisconsin. In 1979, the Waterman family purchased 205 feet (62 m) of frontage property on U.S. Route 12 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and created a bumper boat ride and built a go-kart track. The park opened as “Noah’s Incredible Adventure” (which became the name of a future Noah’s Ark attraction in 2003).In 1994, the Gantz family of Dubuque, Iowa, purchased Noah’s Ark and added the “OctoExplorer”, a yellow submarine with moving periscope, water guns and soft-surfaced waterslides. In 2003, Noah’s Ark Waterpark celebrated 25 years of operation. In 2012, the park was purchased by Palace Entertainment. While under ownership of Palace Entertainment, five attractions have been closed and two have been added. Other changes include fencing the park’s perimeter, removing of per-use lockers, and instituting a fee for parking.
By the time you realize what you’re really in for, it’s already too late. The Point of No Return offers a jaw-dropping, hair-raising, nearly-vertical plunge that literally blurs the line between “thrill” and “pure terror”. Yeah, it’s that good.
Ever wonder what it would be like to go over Niagara Falls with 20 of your closest friends? Flash Flood will send you and your friends over the edge and plummeting down into the water below, creating a mammoth wave that sprays out in all directions. Don’t forget to watch it again from the bridge… it’s a great way to “soak it all in!”
Ten stories high, 400-feet long, and initial drop that sends you plummeting down at more than 50-feet per second. America’s first nearly vertical waterslide loop… Meet the Scorpion’s Tail.
At over 1/4-mile long, Black Anaconda is America’s Most Thrilling Water coaster—a diabolical combination of water slide and rollercoaster. Stare pure terror in the eye before Black Anaconda swallows you whole, sending you spiraling down at 30 miles per hour. Then defy gravity as rushing waters push you up the creature’s six humps and wrap you up in its dark coils.
Grab your friends or family, pile into the 4-person circular raft and hang on tight! Kowabunga sends you all plummeting down more than 500-feet over three stomach-dropping humps. At least you’ll all feel a lot closer by the time you reach the bottom!
In the Jumping Waters area, located at the base of the Sting Ray double slide, the fun comes at you from every direction. That’s because you never know where the next stream of water will leap out at you. But you can be sure of two things—you will get wet and you will have a blast!
Noah’s offers big thrills for the little squirts! The Tadpole Bay Kiddie Play Zone features a giant 8-foot dump bucket, 4 kiddie water slides and over 50 different swings, dancing springs and more! Since the action stays in one area designed for maximum visibility and safety, parents will love Tadpole Bay as much as kids!
Ahh, this is the life… drifting gently along on an inner tube, soaking in the warm sunshine. But don’t get too comfortable. There’s no telling when you’ll encounter a pesky geyser or a cascading waterfall along your journey. Enjoy the trip alone, in a single-person raft, or experience it together on a family-size tube.
