Disney’s Hollywood Studios
In 1994, the park saw its first expansion, with the addition of Sunset Boulevard and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction.On August 9, 2007, Walt Disney World President Meg Crofton announced that Disney-MGM Studios would be re-branded as Disney’s Hollywood Studios.In the 2010s, Disney began phasing out the park’s non-immersive, “studio-like” attractions that headlined the park during its early years of operation.This included the closure of the park’s Studio Backlot Tour,American Idol Experience, and the Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow attractions in 2014.The following year, the Sorcerer’s Hat was removed and the original sightlines from Hollywood Boulevard to the park’s Chinese Theatre were restored.







Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Crush ‘n’ Gusher
Grab a friend for this multi-passenger, roller-coaster-like raft ride, one of the park’s signature attractions!Defy gravity as you and your raft are propelled by powerful jets through uphill climbs and surprise after surprise. Catch some air as you thrill to sudden dips and snake around hairpin turns through darkened and open sections. Then take the plunge as your raft skims its way across Hideaway Bay.


Humunga Kowabunga slide
Plummet down Mount Mayday for a near-vertical, 5-story drop—in the dark!Three side-by-side enclosed body slides provide high-octane thrills, chills and spills for big kids, teens and adults. You won’t know what’s coming next as you zoom downhill in the dark, drop 5 stories in seconds then spray your way to a surprise ending. Scream “kowabunga!”—if you can!







Gangplank Falls slide
Get swept away by rushing rapids down a 300-foot-long waterslide aboard a 4-person inner tube. Big kids, teens and adults can all climb in and whoosh through rocky caverns, beneath drenching waterfalls and under rustic wooden bridges on their path down the mountain—all while rotating this way and that and banking from side to side.


Primeval Whirl
Spin and slide on a time-machine coaster back to the dinosaur age through a madcap maze of curves and drops.Take a trip aboard a spinning rollercoaster in this dinosaur-themed carnival-style attraction.


Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Rock and roll in the dark on your way to an Aerosmith concert, passing legendary landmarks along the way.Tour the famed music studios of G-Force Records, where legendary rockers Aerosmith are wrapping up a recording session. When the band’s manager informs the group that they’re late for a concert on the other side of town, the rock band invites you to come along.







The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Hurtle up and down aboard a haunted, elevator-themed ride. You’re about to enter… The Twilight Zone! Hold on tight as you make your way into another dimension of sight and sound.Tour the infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel, the onetime haunt of Tinseltown’s rich and famous until a mysterious incident forced it to close in 1939. Amble under the iron-wrought gates of the abandoned abode and wind your way through a neglected, weed-filled garden before stepping inside a dusty lobby, seemingly frozen in time.


California Grill Dinning
Via private elevator, ascend to the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where you’ll discover exquisite panoramic views of the shimmering lagoon, Floridian woodland and Cinderella Castle. Inside, enjoy the vibrant sights and sounds of the lively onstage kitchen, where chefs combine global flavors in deliciously inventive new ways.
