Dutch Wonderland
Dutch Wonderland is a 48-acre (19 ha) amusement park just east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in West Lampeter Township, appealing primarily to families with small children. The park’s theme is a “Kingdom for Kids.” The entrance to the park has a stone imitation castle façade, which was built by Earl Clark, a potato farmer, before he opened the park in 1963.The Clark family sold Dutch Wonderland in 2001 to Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company. They also operate Wonderland Mini-Golf, and Old Mill Stream Campground at the same location and the Gift Shop at Kitchen Kettle Village, in nearby Intercourse, Pennsylvania.On November 12, 2010, Hershey Entertainment announced that they sold Dutch Wonderland to Palace Entertainment.Today, the park has 32 rides, plus a tropical-themed interactive water play area called Duke’s Lagoon. The park also has an extended season, open for “Happy Hauntings” and “Dutch Winter Wonderland” events for Halloween and Christmas.Rides: Kingdom Coaster, Double Splash Flume, Turtle Whirl, Astroliner, Joust.







The Twister
The Twister is a circular-motion ride designed for the entire family. The 20-seat ride spins guests horizontally, and then starts fluctuating in a wavelike manner.


Frog Hopper
Frog Hopper, a kids’ favorite by leaps and bounds.


Sunoco Turnpike
The Turnpike has been relocated to Exploration Island and dino-sized! Putter along the outer rim of the Island while you keep an eye out for dinosaurs.







Kingdom Coaster
The kid-friendly Kingdom Coaster takes you to new heights of fun.


Sky Ride
Up, up, and away! Take the scenic route on Sky Ride.


Prehistoric Path
Experience over 20 lifelike dinosaurs up-close as you explore the Prehistoric Path at your own pace.







Duke’s Lagoon
It’s an oasis of summer water fun for kids. Plus a seating area for parents and grandparents! The tropical island themed attraction includes water-spilling coconuts, spectacular water geysers, and bubblers.


Dutch Wonderland’s Royal Friends
What better way to complete your visit to Dutch Wonderland than by meeting the stars of the Kingdom? Stop by the Amphitheater or find them strolling around the park to get hugs, take pictures and spend some time with Dutch Wonderland’s Royal Friends!


Bubba Bear & the Badland Band
Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! Kick up your heels, stomp your feet and sing along with Bubba Bear and friends to this animated country show.


GIFT SHOPS
Artifacts features a variety of dinosaur-themed toys, fossils, jewelry, and plush animals for a fun day on Exploration Island. Hats, T-shirts, cold beverages, and dinosaur backpacks are essential for your hike down the Prehistoric Path. At this interactive stand, children can also pan for genuine gems and dig for sparkling geodes to purchase and break open at home. Located on the Exploration Island.
