Oklahoma City Zoo
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is a zoo and botanical garden located in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District in northeast Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The zoo covers 119 acres and is home to more than 1,900 animals. It is open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.The Oklahoma City Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Alliance of Museums.






Centennial Choo Choo

All aboard this 1863 replica train!
Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday only from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Children’s Zoo Barnyard

Children and families will enjoy this outdoor, tactile experience and each animal is a rare species. The collection includes: Miniature donkeys,Arapawa goats,Nigerian dwarf goats,Rare chickens,Open daily weather-permitting (above 50 degrees) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost: Free

Elephant Express

Embark and disembark at four different locations in the Zoo.Daily rides from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Open weather permitting (above 50 degrees).All day bracelets are $6 per person. Children two and under are free with paying adult






Giraffe Feeding Platform

Visitors have the opportunity to feed the giraffes. The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is a zoo and botanical garden located in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District in northeast Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The zoo covers 119 acres and is home to more than 1,900 animals.

Horticulture

The entire Zoo is an accredited living museum and botanical garden with more than 30,000 specimens of flowering bulbs, unusual and hard-to-find plants, and more than 100 Oklahoma native species–29 of which are listed as imperiled or rare. The Zoo also is home to the largest, walk-through outdoor Butterfly Garden in Oklahoma and many designated horticultural displays and collections. Identification plaques and labels distinguish significant plants throughout Zoo grounds.

Sea Lion Presentations

Get ready for a splash of fun. Sea lion presentations at the Noble Aquatic Center include California sea lions Addie, Pearl and Piper.Daily at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Cost is $4 per person. Children two and under are free.






Dining

The Canopy, operated by the Zoo’s food and beverage partner, Lancer Hospitality, offers a delectable dining experience in a rainforest atmosphere with outside patio option. The menu includes pizza, fresh burgers, chicken tenders, corn dogs, salads, daily specials and vegetarian items. Drinks include a variety of refreshing bottled and fountain drinks, ice tea and coffee. Fresh fruit, snacks and desserts are also available.
