Sesame Place is a children’s theme park, located on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based on the Sesame Street television program. It includes a variety of rides, shows, and water attractions suited to young children. It is one of 11 parks owned and operated by SeaWorld Entertainment with a license from Sesame Workshop.
Each attraction is split into a category. Dry Rides are open during Elmo’s Springtacular, Summer Season, The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular, and A Very Furry Christmas. Water Rides are open only in the Summer Season. Other Rides are only operated during either Elmo’s Springtacular, The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular, or A Very Furry Christmas.
New in 2017 – Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is spending the holiday season with us! The lovable reindeer along with his friends Clarice and Bumble will be available for photos with guests. The fun doesn’t stop there; try your luck by playing our three all – new games of skill!

Children are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and pose for a photo that will forever capture the memory of their Christmas experience at Sesame Place.

Elmo’s Eatery, the largest in-park restaurant at Sesame Place, provides fast, casual table delivery service in a bright, colorful interior.Guests can place their orders at the counter and a member of the Elmo’s Eatery team will then deliver the order to their table, making it easier for families with small children to relax and enjoy a meal during their visit to the park.
