Walt Disney World Railroad – Main Street, U.S.A.
One of the first things to enjoy is the Main Street Rail road. Celebrate classic Americana as you board a vintage train for a full circle tour of Magic Kingdom park. Listen to the clamor of the engine, the chug of the wheels and the call of the whistle as you travel aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad. Offering convenient stops at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Main Street, U.S.A., it’s the perfect way to preview the magic at Magic Kingdom park and take in the picturesque scenery. The Walt Disney World Railroad is also a handy way to get around quickly and easily. And because the trains are scheduled to arrive at each station every 4 to 10 minutes at most times throughout the day, you never have to worry about waiting a long time to ride one.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
A great one for the kids as you fire lasers to defeat Zurg in this shooting-gallery game that puts you in the center of a thrilling space battle. Take aim with your space cannon and fire an invisible infrared laser at a constellation of “Z” insignias. Following an introductory mission briefing with Buzz Lightyear, board an XP-37 star cruiser, take hold of the onboard cannon and begin your space crusade into the Gamma Quadrant. Amid illuminated otherworldly realms, accompany Buzz Lightyear into battle and come face-to-face with Zurg and his rampaging squadron of revolting robots. Quickly identify your interplanetary “Z” targets by using an onboard joystick to spin your cruiser a full 360 degrees, and blast the targets to collect points by firing lasers from your cannon.
Country Bear Jamboree
Have a knee-slappin’ good time at this jolly country-and-western show starring a hilarious bunch of singing bears. Drop into the rustic frontier cabin known as “Grizzly Hall,” and make your way through a cozy lobby, where classic portraits of performers past and present mingle with a collection of musical instruments. Step inside the charming theater—home to 5 stages brimming with decorative wood-carved prosceniums and hanging red curtains—and take a seat before the lights dim. Join a lifelike cast of 18 hillbilly bears as they perform—through the magic of Audio-Animatronics—a 16-minute, foot-stompin’, back-slappin’ musical revue celebrating America’s country-western heritage. Clap along to original and classic country tunes during this fun-filled hootenanny, and behold the zaniest group of bears the world has ever known.
The Hall of Presidents
Behold all 43 U.S. Presidents on stage in a patriotic, Audio-Animatronics show tracing the history of the United States. Enter the pristine Hall of Presidents in the heart of Liberty Square—modeled after Independence Hall in Philadelphia—and make your way beneath an awe-inspiring grand rotunda. Peruse an authentic artifact collection nearby featuring such treasures as George Washington’s dental instruments and Abraham Lincoln’s leather portfolio. Stroll into the 700-seat main theater, home to 3 massive projection screens and a grand proscenium. As the lights dim, sit back and enjoy an original film—developed by a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian—relaying the dramatic story of the United States of America.
The Haunted Mansion
Embark on a spine-tingling tour through an eerie haunted estate, home to ghosts, ghouls and supernatural surprises.
Edge into a shadowy foyer and climb aboard a gloomy Doom Buggy for a supernatural journey through a labyrinth of haunted chambers. Glide past a casket-filled conservatory, a chilling séance room and a ghostly graveyard of singing specters as you attempt to find your way out. Blending giggling ghouls with things that go bump in the night, this classic attraction promises to send chills up and down your shivering spine. Once an abandoned residence in the center of Liberty Square, the Mansion has been home to 999 unearthly specters since October 1, 1971 November 28 to December 1, 2016, the Haunted Mansion will be closed for refurbishment.
Space Mountain
Blast off on a rip-roaring rocket through the darkest reaches of outer space on this roller-coaster-type ride in the dark. Journey throughout the cosmos to the furthest reaches of the galaxy and back! Navigate a shadowy, neon-lit space station and make your way to a bustling Control Tower, passing a constellation of glowing astronaut training stations along the way. Inside a futuristic launch pad, board a sleek rocket-shaped vehicle and prepare yourself for a high-flying adventure into deep space. When all systems are “Go,” glide through an energy tunnel pulsating with blinking lights and ascend a 180-foot high mountain. At the top, launch into the remote blackness of the dark universe, the mysterious sounds of space and galactic music filling the void.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Race through a haunted gold-mining town aboard a rollicking runaway mine train. The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, Dash in and out of desert caverns and rumble through a haunted mine aboard a speeding train. Amid rugged bedrock and desert cactus, venture inside a nearly 200-foot mountain to the Big Thunder Mining Company, established in the early days of America’s Gold Rush. Traipse down into an abandoned mine shaft and discover a mysterious 5-car locomotive waiting to take you on a journey inside an abandoned shaft. Hang Onto Your Hats! As you begin your journey into the darkness of the tunnel, the train’s wheels chug back and forth across a rickety track. Swoop around turns and dip and drop into canyons and caves, darting through the ghost town of Tumbleweed.
