Lagoon Park Utah
Lagoon is a privately owned amusement park in Farmington, Utah, United States, located about seventeen miles north of Salt Lake City. It has ten roller coasters, five of which are unique; Colossus the Fire Dragon, the last Schwarzkopf Double Looping coaster still in operation in the United States. Roller Coaster, one of the oldest coasters in the world operating since 1921; Wicked, designed by Lagoon’s engineering department and Werner Stengel in cooperation with ride manufacturer Zierer; BomBora, a family coaster designed in-house; and Cannibal, built in-house with one of the world’s steepest drops.






Cannibal roller coaster

Cannibal is Lagoon’s most thrilling ride- including a 140 foot tall inverted loop and water feature. Riders travel up to 70 mph over 2,735 feet and through 3 inversions.

Colossus Fire Dragon Roller Coaster

The Fire Dragon is one-and-a-half times as high as the Lagoon Roller Coaster, and twice as high as the Jet Star 2.

Wicked Roller Coaster

Riders launch to the top of the 110-foot tower at speeds close to 41 mph by means of a linear synchronous motor (LSM) drive system, essentially rocketing riders up and over the top of the first hill.






Rattlesnake Rapids

Rattlesnake Rapids is a river raft ride designed to transport guests down 1/3 of a mile of lightning-quick water. Up to nine people can ride on a circular raft that carries them through rapid white water, rising swells and splashy waterfalls.

Roller Coaster

Over 80 years old, the Lagoon Roller Coaster remains one of the most popular attractions at the Park, and one of only a few wooden coasters between Denver and the West Coast.

Dinosaur Drop

The Dinosaur Drop and Ladybug Bop each consist of two independent 40-foot vertical fall towers. These family rides will appeal to all ages.






Merry-Go-Round

Carousel, or Merry-Go-Round, is one of fewer than 170 intact wooden carousels in operation for the public today — and the only one in Utah!
