Description
Michigan’s Adventure is a 250-acre amusement park in Muskegon County, Michigan, about halfway between Muskegon and Whitehall. It is the largest amusement park in the state and has been owned and operated by Cedar Fair since 2001. As of 2019, Michigan’s Adventure has 52 rides, more than any other park in the state.
The park also includes an outdoor water park, WildWater Adventure. The park is headlined by seven roller coasters, including Shivering Timbers, a wooden coaster, and a suspended looping coaster, Thunderhawk.
Michigan’s Adventure will debut its new Peanuts® themed kids’ area, Camp Snoopy. Camp Snoopy will feature five family rides, including a family-friendly roller coaster and beautiful natural landscaping with plenty of shaded seating and pathways that offer something to explore around every corner.
On a hot, summer Michigan day, a great way to cool off is with a refreshing splash of water. You can get that and much more on our Adventure Falls ride. This classic water flume ride at Michigan’s Adventure starts with a slow and steady climb up the lift.
Grand Rapids ride offers the same type of spine-tingling thrills and chills. This dizzying water adventure features large, family-size rafts for nine people. A family water ride where riders travel in rafts along a man-made river full of rapids, geysers, canyons, and waterfalls. Rafts float and bounce down high‑speed rapids, often rotating rapidly after impacting with the bank of the river. Riders will get wet.
Have you ever experienced the Corkscrew? No? Do we have a crazy surprise for you! This mind-bending roller coaster holds a valued place of honor as the first coaster built at Michigan’s Adventure. Throughout the ages, it has drawn and impressed roller-coaster enthusiasts from all over the world as one of the best corkscrew-coaster-riding experiences available anywhere.
Shivering Timbers is a solid mile of pure adrenaline, excitement and fun! The signature ride at Michigan’s Adventure, this classic wooden roller coaster holds the record as the longest and fastest in the state.
As the first wooden roller coaster at Michigan’s Adventure, Wolverine Wildcat is a tried-and-true guest favorite. The coaster with a wild, serpentine layout was designed by legendary roller coaster designer Curtis D. Summers, built in 1988 by the Dinn Corporation and since then has delighted families from around the world.
