Worlds of Fun is amusement park in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. The park opened in 1973 and is owned and operated by Cedar Fair, which purchased the park from Hunt-Midwest in 1995. Admission to Worlds of Fun includes access to Oceans of Fun, a water park adjacent to the amusement park.With Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun covering more than 235 acres with all kinds of rides and slides, you’re sure to find a world full of fun for just about anyone.






Patriot

The ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave’ was given a whole new meaning on this giant Inverted Coaster, which debuted in 2006. The Patriot goes through a series of four amazing inversions with your legs dangling free reaching speeds up to 65 miles per hour! The ride consists of two trains, both holding 28 riders. Are you brave enough to give it a try?

Timber Wolf roller coaster

Now, our original wooden coaster has received a new finale! We replaced the helix with a high-speed over banked 70-degree turn. This thrilling final corner turns riders nearly sideways!

SteelHawk

Leave your fear of heights at the gate and grab a seat on SteelHawk.Catch amazing views of the Kansas City skyline and surrounding areas while spinning at a rate of 8 rotations per minute.At night, marvel in the lights of the city, and of the ride! SteelHawk illuminates the sky nightly with a dynamic rainbow of colors.






Zulu rides

Zulu is a high speed circular ride that raises to a 90-degree angle and turns guests upside-down before returning to ground level.

Le TaxiTour

Guest operated replicas of antique taxis. Must be 48 inches to drive, riders may be under 48 inches if accompanied by a supervising companion.

Fjord Fjarlane ride

A high speed circular ride with 14 arms that raise and lower while the ride spins and produces strong acceleration and forces. Must be 48 inches to ride unless accompanied by a supervising companion.





Monsoon

Oceans of Fun offers the best chance to beat the heat during the summer. Conveniently connected to Worlds of Fun, these splash-tastic attractions are open seasonally from mid-May to early September — and, are included in a Worlds of Fun admission. From the extreme water slides at Predator’s Plunge to the calming current of the Caribbean Cooler lazy river, there’s always a way to cool off in the blue inviting waters. Kids will love the various pint-sized slides, geysers, and fountains found at Crocodile Isle, and will surely want a chance to climb the giant water playhouse, Paradise Falls. Don’t forget the fan favorite of Surf City Wave Pool, where the tide is high every 10 minutes with over 1 million gallons of water. There’s no better place for summertime fun, and Oceans of Fun has all that you need to slide, splash, relax and play!

Shark’s Revenge

Take a dive down Sharks’ Revenge. These enclosed tube slides feature high speed drops and banks. Experience the thrill for yourself this summer!

World of Fun Village

Stay on property and save on admission. Located right next to the park, Worlds of Fun Village offers a full collection of Cottages, Cabins and fully-equipped RV Sites. The Village also features a relaxing and refreshing pool with hot tub. And of course, we don’t want you really roughing it out there, so you’ll also find a fully-stocked store for all of your food, supplies and souvenirs.
