Description
At Schlitterbahn Waterpark Kansas City, it’s the rivers that connect us. Spend more time together while enjoying an endless float on an interconnected river system that takes you throughout the entire park on more than a mile of rapids, currents, and tidal waves. Slide through tunnels and turns on tubes and mats, experience the up-and-down thrills of Storm Blaster water coaster, and ride the wave on the Boogie Bahn surf ride. Splash and play on 13 mini-slides for littles ones. Relax on beaches, in private cabanas, or in a heated pool with a swim-up refreshment bar.
The Black Knight tube slide delivers a warped dark ride through a fully-enclosed coiled slide. The Black Knight tube slide is one of three attractions atop a 42-foot-tall tower that also include the Wolfpack and Bahnzai Pipeline tube slides.
Storm Blaster is an uphill Master Blasterâ„¢ water coaster, another signature Schlitterbahn attraction. Storm Blaster combines the up and down thrills of a roller coaster with the unique experience of being propelled upward by jets of water. Riders ascend to the top of the launch tower and are sent down a three-story plunge, then back up through a series of peaks and dips before entering the twisting tunnel that leads to the final splash. It’s like a roller coaster but better and wetter! Storm Blaster is one of the eight slides, chutes, rivers and beaches in the Transportainment river system that make it possible for guests to travel from one end of the park to the other basically without ever leaving the water!
Wade in the Boogie Bay beach waters or bask in the sun in this peaceful lounging area. The waters of the Kristal River wash lightly on the shore of this calm beach to provide refreshment as riders pass by on their way to a ride-up Aqua Veyer that leads to the King Kaw Rapids River. Guests enter this attraction without waiting in line. Boogie Bay is part of the Transportainment River System.
Kinderhaven is designed especially for families with smaller children. This shallow water playground is separated from the rest of the “big kid” activities and is conveniently located in the center of the park. Surrounded by shaded seating and open sun-lounging areas, Kinderhaven lets both kids and parents have fun. Kids will love to explore the Wyandotte Express choo-choo train, a friendly frog and a giant turtle. A giant fountain provides sprinkles for all. There are a total of nine mini-slides for kids in Kinderhaven. Guests enter this attraction without waiting in line!
Grab a mat and get ready for the fastest ride this side of the speedway. This open-air slide provides a thrilling ride through turns and short tunnels all the way to the finish line! The Twister mat slide is one of three attractions atop the 60-foot-tall Tornado Alley tower that also include the Whirlwind dark slide and the Cyclone mat slide.
After relaxing in the Kristal River, Schlitterbahn guests ride up an Aqua Veyer to Blitz Falls tube chute for a casual float back to all the action of Torrent Beach and Torrent River. Blitz Falls is part of the Transportainment River System which allows guests to travel from one end of the park to the other without ever leaving the water.
The Raging River tube chute provides an exciting ride through a series of rapids and channels. Guests enter through Torrent Beach and reach their final splashdown destination at Kristal River. Raging River is one of the thirteen slides, chutes, rivers and beaches in the Transportainment river system that make it possible for guests to travel from one end of the park to the other basically without ever leaving the water!
Henry’s Hideout provides a soothing getaway that is located right in the middle of all the Schlitterbahn fun. A giant heated pool with a swim-up refreshment bar and in-water seating creates the perfect place to unwind and take a break from all the action for our 21+ guests. A giant fountain nearby provides a spray of refreshment for smaller children to enjoy. Guests enter this attraction without waiting in line!
Add some privacy and relaxation to your day with the rental of one of Schlitterbahn’s secluded Cabanas. Cabanas provide a common meeting ground for their party and private seating.
